Sugarcane is dream realized sooner than expected but at exactly the right time in the right place!

Erin turned to esthetics after she was  struggling to find the joy in the grind of the tech and retail industries. She brings with her 20 years of business and marketing experience and training by some of the best estheticians in the Pacific Northwest.

Erin choose sugaring due to the sustainability and the simple fact that sugaring creates less waste than waxing. You won't find extra paper goods or unnecessary products in our studio.

"This dream was a reality made of Self -care.  Self-care is what brought me to the skincare industry. I wanted to be sure to share my love of Self-care with others and promote how important it is to find what Self-care means to you and to practice it as often as you need."

~ Erin, Owner

What is Sola Salons?

Sola Solons is group (mall, franchise, location-  pick your word) of independent beauty professionals that are all in charge of our own businesses and have all taken the chance to be our own boss! We are all independent of one another, but love to support each other in our ventures.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We charge a 100% service fee for No-Shows.  Please cancel by 8 PM the night before your appointment to avoid a fee of 50% of scheduled service. This includes ANY changes to services requested. Please text me if you have questions! Any applicable discounts will be applied AFTER service is complete.

Why do you require a credit card to make an appointment?

Our time is valuable. If you fail to show up to your appointment you have taken the appointment away from another client. We are a small business and rely on filling our calendar so we can continue to provide the best services possible. You will NOT be charged unless you fail to cancel within the stated time frame. See Cancellation policy above.

How do I reschedule my appointment?

Please find your confirmation email or text and click the link to view your appointment. At the bottom of the screen you should see a "Cancel Appointment". You will see a message about canceling. If you are canceling within our policy you will not be charged! Choose Yes.  Then choose Yes on the "Reschedule?"box.

Illness Policy:

If you are sick / feeling sick please reschedule your appointment. I understand that getting your service done when you need it is important, it is also important for me to keep everyone who comes to my studio healthy.

If I get sick I can’t work for however many days it takes to recover, leaving me to reschedule a number people. Possibly you!

I understand that colds can come on quickly so please let me know as soon as you can and I will make extra effort to get you in quickly when you are well. No notice however is still unacceptable. (Please refer to my cancellation policy above)

If you do come in sick for your service I have the right to refuse service. Please feel free to call or email me with question or concerns.

I came by Sola on Sunday and you were closed?

For the security of our guests and Sola professionals our doors are locked at 6pm every evening and ALL day Sunday and Monday. If you have an appointment on those days, dial Erin on the key pad and she will buzz you in!

What ages do you recommend for Sugaring?

Sugaring is good for “most” skin types!  I do not recommend sugaring for those under age 13 unless discussed with the parent. If you are under 18, I require a parent present or at least a verbal communication that you are having the service done. This is to protect both me and you!

Can I bring my kids?

We ask that you try to come to Sugarcane on your own for some You time! We do not have a waiting room or place for kids to entertain themselves.  However, we understand that in our busy lives this is not always possible.

Does Sugaring hurt?

Sugaring is less painful than waxing due the temperature of the Sugar (about 95-100 degrees) and that the sugar only adheres to dead skin cells and hair. The first appointment is usually the most uncomfortable. Some clients find taking a ibuprofen 1 hour before if you think it will help and if this is approved by your doctor or medical professional.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Your hair should be at least 1/8th of an inch long  (about a grain of rice) for best results of your first treatment.  Make sure to exfoliate and moisturize in the days leading up to your appointment. The day before  DO NOT exfoliate as this is part of the sugaring process. Please inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, conditions, or medications prior to your service. Please bring a clean shirt/ pants to change into if you are having your back, chest, abs or legs done. This will help prevent any breakouts after sugaring.

Do you offer Discounts?

We have a great referral program! If you refer a friend you get a $10.00 credit. This can be used on your next service or saved up!
Also ask us about our Prepaid Maintenance program!

Do you offer Men’s Services?

We offer many Men’s services! If you don’t see it on our menu just ask! At this time we DO NOT offer Men’s Brazilian services.

What is Self Care?

Self Care is recognizing the need to take time and care to focus on ourselves.  If we are not full charged and present- it leaves us with less energy and availability for those that we want to share our lives with. Read Our Blog »
